APAO-APOIS Imaging Competition Winners

We are pleased to announce the results of the APAO-APAO-APOIS Imaging Competition that took place during the opening diet of 2022-2023. The contest began on World Sight Day in October 2022 and concluded in early January. The highly anticipated competition received over 800 submissions across ten categories. We are thrilled to announce our top three overall winners and the winners and runners-up for each of the ten categories.

We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the 11 judges who volunteered their time to judge the 800 entries. We appreciate their valuable contribution and dedication to the competition. The APOIS secretariat will contact the individual prize winners to receive their prizes and certificate.

The first-place winner will receive $1000 in prize money from the President of APOIS, Prof Wong Tien Yin, along with a Nikon DSLR camera. All other winners will receive a cash prize and a certificate of merit. The winning entries will be displayed at the APAO exhibition and featured on the APOIS website.

We would like to take this opportunity to congratulate all the winners of the competition. Your hard work, creativity, and dedication to the theme of “imaging the eye: Helping the world to see” truly shone through in your submissions. We appreciate your participation in the competition and are grateful for your contributions.

Once again, on behalf of APOIS, we extend our congratulations and appreciation to all the winners and participants of the competition.

Thank you for helping to make the contest a resounding success.
